Singapore Air Suite Class Experience
It is no secret that Singapore Air is overall the most luxurious experience in the World.
Singapore Air’s Business Class is comfortable enough to fly around the globe many times: the aim of this article is to show how much further it is possible to stretch the comfort and luxury of travelling by plane. Voila, Singapore Air Suite Class!
The pre-flight experience includes a private First Class Check-in Room, the Private Room dining and a priority boarding. Friendly stewardesses offer a glass of champagne on boarding. The choices are Krug or Dom Perignon.
The Suite Class Cabin is only available on A380 flights and consists of 12 suites which are designed by a famous yacht architect Jean-Jacques Coste.
The cabins are spacious and it makes me think that I’d comfortably live in one for a week.
Suite Class cabins are private and have 2 windows which can be closed with blinds for extra privacy as well as they have a sliding door.
The armchairs are made of leather and are 35 inches wide.
On my opinion, what makes Singapore Air upper classes different from other airlines, is that the bed is never converted from the chair. In fact, Singapore Air promoted a ‘turndown’ service, when one of the crew come over and prepares the cabin for a sleep.
When I travel Suite Class, I reserve the middle seat as it is adjacent to the neighbor and can be converted to a double room and double bed.
The Culinary experience is magnificent. From the ‘book the cook’ option (this means pre-ordering the selection of dishes before flight), malossol caviar to eggs cooked on board. Meals are served on the tables covered with white tablecloths and on Wedgewood bone china specially designed for Singapore Air. A selection of premium wines, champagnes and freshly prepared cocktails is exceptional. You can have any coffee, from espresso, cappuccino to decaf or a tea from Singapore luxury tea brand TWG.
Last but not least, Singapore Air Suite Class offers a great in-flight entertainment. Every cabin has a 23-inch personal LCD with Bose headphones. There is a selection of over 1000 entertainment options, which include movies, TV programmes, games, music selection and apps. Selected fights will offer on aboard Wi-FI.
