DREAMLAND CAPPADOCIA
Cappadocia -situated in Western Turkey-is one of the most amazing places on planet.
Here you can see unusual landscapes of volcanic origin, underground towns and cave dwellings which were used as sanctuaries, houses, stables, churches a long time ago.
All these was formed by nature: volcanic eruption and the the earthquakes – and carved by humans. It is believed that the incredible Cappadocian ‘fairy chimney’ landscape started forming in the 4th century and is now a great masterpiece of the Byzantine art. It is protected by Unesco World Heritage.
Cappadocia is a great place to discover and will suit more for an active holiday rather than a resort getaway.
Our trip to Cappadocia was short but it was enough to capture the unforgettable beauty of this place in our minds and, of course, on our cameras!
In our two day stay we managed to do the following things:
-enjoyed an authentic experience of living in the cave at a Kayakapi Premium Caves
-had a hot air balloon ride in Göreme National Park
-enjoyed the 5am tea at a Sultan Cave Suites with the view over Göreme National park and hot air balloon
Hope you like our photo- and video report about the pinnacle sceneries of Cappadocia.
