SARDINIA – FAVOURITE RESTAURANTS
Ristaurante Gianni Pedrinelli
The story of this restaurant started in distant past, 40 years ago, when young Gianni moved to Costa Smeralda with his brother and sister. In Porto Cervo, they opened a restaurant, where they combined the simplicity and comfort of their home town Brecia with the sophistication of their new home in Sardinia.
Its important to mention that the cuisine in Gianni Pedrinelli implies the use of only the freshest and seasonal fruits and vegetables.
And even Bellinis will only be served if you visit the restaurant in the harvest season of white peaches.
Ristaurante Gianni Pedrinelli with its homely and comfort food.
We sincerely recommend to try out the antipasto buffer, home made vanilla ice-cream and, of course, the legendary Tiramisu. In our view this is in the top handful of Italian Restaurants in the world.
Ristaurante Da Giovannino
In 1990 Givannino Romano opened a restaurant Piazza Quadra in Porto Rotodno. Cuisine in Piaza Quadra conquered the stomachs of aristocrats from Europe, the celebrities of the world as well as politicians and businesspeople.
Since 1990 nothing has diminished in any way. Nowadays, the restaurant is called Giovannino, the culinary process is under the supervision of Lady Anna, the wife of the founder, and their 3 children.
This restaurant in the heart of Porto Rotondo continues to pamper with its Italian cuisine, romantic atmosphere and forces us to enjoy authentic ‘dolce vita’.
Tanit
Restaurant Tanit is situated on the second floor of Poltu Quatu Resort. Decorated in elegant ethnic style, this place spoils us with the view over the port.
From here you can observe a dynamic life of the main piazza of Poltu Quatu, comtemplate a fashion show
or simply enjoy the sunset during the romantic supper.
Tanit is famous for being the best fish restaurant in Costa Smeralda. We recommend to try a mixed fish tempura and of course the catch of the day baked with tomatoes, olives and potatoes (al cartoccio).
La Scogliera
La Scogliera is situated in Porto Massimo in La Maddalena archipelago. This place is hidden from the eyes of numerous tourists.
Here reigns magnificence and solitude. Tables in the restaurants are located between the cliffs; view- on the endless azure of the Mediterranean Sea; sounds of a shore being caressed by the water and a freshly cooked delicious dinner. We recommend beetroot ravioli with goats cheese, as well as excellent spaghetti with lobster. The setting is magnificent, however, the restaurant has a reputation for being expensive.
WHY NOT
This restaurant in Liscia Di Vacca has opened only a year ago but alrady conquered the hearts of locals and tourists.
The main idea of this destination is a combination of lif]ve music and traditional Sardinian interior with a modern twist. The menu of the restaurant is so rich in choice, that you can order anything that you desire: from prawn carpaccio and Japanese sushi rolls to traditional Sardinian suckling pig.
WHY not- is one of a few restaurants in Sardinia in fusion style.
Wherever you choose to lunch or dine, in every Sardinian restaurant any meal will be started with local paper bread ‘carta di muscia’ and finished with a shot of local liquor Myrto.
Buon Appetito!
