Sardinia: Porto Massimo

In this post I share with you another wonderful place that I like visiting when I visit Sardinia: Porto Massimo. I can describe it like “a small oasis surrounded by clear emerald waters” in the North East of the island of Maddalena.
Porto Massimo is a home for one of my favourite restaurants- La Scogliera, which means ‘the cliff’ translating from Italian. It also supports boat mooring for those who arrive by sea.
Porto Massimo has one hotel, Hotel Cala Lunga, however, it is absolutely striking to stay at night at a boat on a mooring looking over the shimmering lights of the port. This place is picturesque, breathtaking and maybe ghostly…
